Wallace’s Missionary Prayer Letter February and March 2010
Dear Pastors, Church Families, Friends and Family:
Malachi 3:6 says, “For I am the Lord, I change not …” When we started deputation, the economy and raising support wasn’t too bad. Since that time, the economy has struggled. But despite that, God continues having churches take us on for support. When we started deputation, the conditions in Mexico were less than desirable. Since then, there is much more violence, corruption, and general unrest, yet God is still saving souls and taking care of his servants who labor in those harvest fields. Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” It’s a blessing that though times and things change, the Lord does not (and we should not). Hallelujah!

But in all of our travels, I am reminded of going ‘out into the highways’ physically. In November alone, we traveled over 5,000 miles for ministry purposes (not to mention personal errands). I was amazed as I took the time to do the math. Many miles equals to more opportunities to challenge churches, getting the gospel out, and raising more support. Praise the Lord!
As I think conversely about the geography of Mexico City in comparison to our travels in the states, it is much different. Yet, I still can’t get over the multitudes there as opposed to the United States and other places. Mexico City’s population is larger than the country of Canada; twice as large as New York City; three times larger than Chicago; four times larger … Read More »
