Pastors, Church Families, Friends & Family:

Jeremiah said in Lamentations 3:51 “Mine eye affecteth mine heart…” We just returned a few weeks ago from our survey mission trip in Mexico City and I agree with this prophet that my heart has been affected by what I have seen. It says of Jesus in Matthew 9:36-38 “But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Deuteronomy 10:19 says, “Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land …” God has given our family a burden and love for the Spanish people of which some in the United States may look down upon. If we would only remember how much He loved us when we were strangers to Him, it might make it easier for us to love others more, enough to reach them with the precious gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Please be in prayer for our family as we plan to make a survey mission trip in a few weeks to Mexico … Read More »
