Wallace’s Missionary Prayer Letter April – May 2011 (June 20, 2011)
Dear Pastors, Churches and Friends,
Greetings in Jesus’ Name! Well, we (the church) are still here. Of course the rapture didn’t come on May 21st at 6:00pm as predicted by Harold Camping. Though we are living in the last days (2 Tim. 3:1; Heb. 1:2; 2 Pet. 3:3), the Bible is clear that no man can know the day or hour of the Lord’s return (Matt 24:36). Anyone who proclaims otherwise is a false prophet (Deut. 18:22), but I do still believe the Lord’s return is imminent. Three times in the last chapter of the Bible, Jesus said of Himself that He is coming quickly (verses 7, 12, and 20). So, why didn’t He come, and why hasn’t He come yet? Jesus came at first to this earth when it was fully time as told in Galatians 4:4, “But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, …” I believe He is coming soon, but His tarrying is evidence that there are still some that need to be saved for His house to be full as He said in Luke 14:23, “And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that … Read More »

Dear Pastors, Churches and Friends,
As I write this letter on April 18th, I know that taxes for U.S. Citizens are due today. Now, as a citizen of Heaven, I am also reminded how very, very, very much I owe to the Lord Jesus Christ for saving me, not to mention all of the blessings He willingly bestows upon me. Luke 16:5 says, “… How much owest thou unto my lord?” As I think of this question asked by the unjust steward to debtors, I realize that I could never pay the Lord back for what He has done for me. I am eternally indebted to Him. I agree with the apostle Paul where he basically said in Romans 1:14 that he was indebted to God and others to preach the gospel. In 1 Corinthians 9:16 Paul knowing glory is due to God said”…woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” Amen!
Our support is now 92%. Praise the Lord! We have worked very hard lately and prayed, yet support is trickling in now at the end of deputation. I know God’s timing is best, although we yearned to have been done by now. We have decided we would leave when we achieve … Read More »
