Wallace’s Missionary Prayer Letter – June and July 2007

Posted on June 21st 2007

Pastors, Church Families, Friends & Family:

God said in Jeremiah 33:3 “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” I had no idea that less than a year ago as I began to sincerely call upon the Lord for His will, that He would show us a new life, land and ministry for our family.” I believe it is God’s plan for many others to sell out and maybe ship out, so continue to pray for laborers to call on Him for His will. Deuteronomy 10:19 says, “Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land …” God has given our family a burden and love for the Spanish people of which some in the United States may look down upon. If we would only remember how much He loved us when we were strangers to Him, it might make it easier for us to love others more, enough to reach them with the precious gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Please be in prayer for our family as we plan to make a survey mission trip in a few weeks to Mexico City. Pray for all the details and needs to come together. We plan to be in Mexico City Friday, August 24th through Thursday, August 30th.

I am thankful to the churches who have taken us on for support and/or who have allowed us to present our ministry. I appreciate all those who help, encourage and pray for us. I am grateful for the other meetings we have scheduled and those that we will be scheduling. Praise the Lord!

Thanks to all of you who prayed for my wife’s health recently as she had a stroke on June 11th. It was a little uncertain how things would turn out but God saw fit to allow most all of her related problems to go away, except for frequent headaches. By the way, it has been seven years since Mary’s cancer. Glory to God! The Lord was also good to provide us with a low mileage replacement van in June after our other van, with over 200,000 miles, lost its second transmission in April. God put it on someone’s heart to provide the majority of the money for this vehicle. Amen!

God has continued to allow us recently to see souls saved in churches, in prisons, while out door-knocking, on the streets, etc. Hallelujah! It is awesome to personally know the True and Living God and to experience Him working in our lives and to see the same in others.

Well, I must close. Please continue to pray for us, especially for our trip to Mexico City. We will be sure to update you about our visit there in our next prayer letter. Bye for now. Thank you.
